Talk about stellar testimony. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas are expected in Washington, D.C., March 3 to talk about moral rights for artists (colorization, cutting, etc.). They'll testify before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Patents, Copyrights and Trademarks. It just so happens that Lucas' live-in love, Linda Ronstadt, will be in town for three concert appearances. ... A Los Angeles Superior Court judge dismissed last week part of Joan Rivers' suit against GQ and writer Ben Stein. The court let stand Rivers claim of defamation for a December article but dismissed her claim for emotional distress.

Reported by Lorrie Lynch, Ann Trebbe and Edna Gundersen
